Phreak is correct.
Also, a hinder is accidental from the person that does it. The person that has the shot normally does not swing to stop from hitting the other player with the racquet or to hit the other player with the ball.
So, a hinder is considered accidental but when someone keeps using it then its easy to suspect that they are using the hinder to stop you from hitting a good shot.
So, it is up to the person that has the shot to determine if they hit the ball or not.
A hinder is when your opponent is in the way of you/your swing/your shot.
Im a newbie and I am curious, what’s a hinder?
And I am a little confused about this rule, so, how can he place the foot so close to the line without crossing it with the racquet? I mean, you said every part of your eqippment should be behind that line right?
open, check out my videos
Mens Open Division and 45-50. How about you?
what level do you play
Well, we might play one time and then never again. My safety is dependent upon you as much as it is for me.
It is NOT up to me to move out of the way of the service box before the ball passes the safety line. It is up to both of us to play agressively but safe at the same time.
If you were to ever about to hit me b/c of positioning on the safety line I hope that you will call a “hinder”.
Pls tell me you know what a hinder is.
you gotta move out of the way dude
Right. But there are’nt man y people that can enter the safety zone & hit the ball before the ball leaves the safety zone on a normal serve.
Unless it’s a high slow serve that allows the server 2 get out of the way and remain safe.
Otherwise, to enter the saftey zone in any way is a danger 2 the server. I will not play with a player that continually enters the safety zone regardless of how fast they may think they are.
If U have ever seen anyone hit with a racquet U will understand.
unless thet ball bounces first
Try watching it with a hangover.
You cannot cross the line, in ANY way with the racquet, your foot, your head, your hands, any part of you or equipment or you loose the point. This line is there for the safety of the players.
Do you have to wait for the ball to cross the plane of the line before you make contact with the ball or is it just your feet that can’t cross the line on the serve?
man…the courts i play on dont have that line lol
It seems very informative, but the audio is horrible. It’s bad enough that there’s an echo, which is understandable, but the choppiness of the audio just puts it over the edge. I can’t take it. I’m sorry I won’t be able to watch more of this guy.
