There is a lot of buzz about President Obama creating a scholarship program specifically for moms. To a certain extent, this is true. His American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) has revamped funding for higher education, providing higher tuition allotments that are easier to obtain by everyone. And, women can find money for school through the Sam Walton Community Scholarship which targets those who live in communities that have a Sam’s Club or Wal-Mart nearby. But, all financial aid searches should begin with the Free Application for Student Aid which is the eligibility application for federal financial aid.
