when it comes to credible sources, wouldn’t you being willing to believe the reports done on money matters, cnn, the tonight show, the new york post, rather than the repeated ideas of teenagers/young adults. Check your sources.

Im all with you man. i worked there a week. their product is incredibly overpriced and no one would buy it with this economy. i had to go there multiple times a week for random pointless meetings that I didnt get paid for.
sales is more like a game than a job. if you are in sales and look at it as just another way to make a paycheck then you probably are not going to be good at it. It is something you have to be enthusiastic about. Selling is merely a transfer of emotion and enthusiasm. that and a good product. cutco has a high price tag because it is direct sales plus it is a product that can have a high price tag. that money goes around to different people and the knives are only worth half the price paid.
I would say well done theroachyjaily in leaving them now as I have had the same experience here in the UK with a similar company who only pays based on commission which is good for anyone who loves working in that kind of environment. But for me part of the job involved giving away your soul or morals as one would say because for example I would never sell my products to the elderly, disabled or unemployed as I know it is morally wrong in taking advantaged of people who are vulnerable.
it was wayyy to damn long. 3 day training, 6hrs each. sittin on these tiny ass chairs. i’ve actually started the job, i’ve done 2 demo’s. didnt sell nething yet. it’s not bad, but u know, it’s not great. idk. it’s still too early to tell…also.the having to buy a kit 4 the job it rediculous, i have no money, it’s the reason i got the job. sadly i had to sell my xbox to pay 4 the kit.

well i made 12,000 last semster so i gotta say i kinda like vector. im 18 btw, if you just chose not to suck, you wouldve been as pleased as i was.
I think there’s another detail about the people saying you’re just bitter because you suck at selling, blah blah blah. Usually they’re not long time employees working for Cutco, they’re people that have been working for them for 2 weeks who are trying their hardest not to realize they’ve been had. It’s a defense mechanism. After week 3, you don’t hear from them about Cutco. Circumstances force them to shut the fuck up.
