Can an Asian go to an HBCU and get a minority scholarship?

(E.g. Howard University)
I know with HBCU’s, there are minority scholarships for African Americans and Latinos that want to go there. But since I would like to go to an HBCU, would I be eligible for a scholarship since I am not the majority (at Howard), but the minority?

  1. usually they do but they have to apply just like any other student in order to get a scholarship

  2. Yes for example: My white sister in law attended the Historically black Tennessee state university, and got some grants whose purpose is to foster diversity in schools…so minority scholarship no….certain grants…. yes! I’m looking at Howard too though for fall 2010 entrance, Howard seems like a very good school. And racially if your Asian don’t think you’ll be an outcast, you would be accepted….trust me…..
