This scholarship program is open to Hispanic-Americans who are the first person in their family to go to college. Students need to have financial need and also need to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program in any U.S. accredited college or university or technical school. The minimum grade point average to qualify is 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale. The scholarships tha are awarded range anywhere from $500 to $5,000. To apply, interested students need to head on over to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and be sure to apply before the deadline that is on April 15.
