I want to apply to a number of summer pre-college programs in prestigious universities. My wish is to study journalism, but most of the programs’ deadlines have passed. The Asian American Journalists Association journalism camp would have been perfect, seeing that it is free and aimed towards asian americans such as myself, but that deadline has passed. NYU’s deadline has passed. I am looking at Barnard’s summer leadership program, Brown University’s Summer High school program, and the program at Boston college. Are there other programs that are really good?
Another question; Will these increase my chances of getting into the school. (that isn’t my main goal, it really is for the growing and experience.)
Thanks.

The motive for any of the college camps is to recruit students so it should very well help you get in to your college.
