The University of Rhode Island is a small, beautiful place and a major research center. URI offers nearly 80 majors, including unique, interdisciplinary, and international programs. We also offer merit scholarships to international students. In addition to the 1200 acre Kingston campus, there is a 200-acre Bay Campus and a non-residential campus in the heart of downtown Providence. URI has 12800 undergraduate students from 55 US states and territories and 61 countries, with a student to faculty ratio of 14 to 1.
